Midtown has gained a new American seafood grill with delectable bites at The Wayfarer, inside The Quin hotel, on 57th and 6th. A gorgeous space over looking Sixth Avenue, with one of the most magical swooping booths that runs along the restaurant, it's a great spot to get your fish on, and then some.
Alaskan King Crabs ($29) comes with lemon cream fraiche and jalapeño, and are splendid.
Petit Lobster Roll ($18) came with salt & vinegar chips, and is tasty as can be.
Cured Tasmanian Sea Trout ($16) comes with pickled pearl onions and salmon roe. It's gorgeous.
For dessert, do not skip the Peanut Butter Candy Bars, dark chocolate, espelette marshmallow, and candied peanuts. It is divine, perfection, and fucking awesome!
