Some of the best cooking in NYC is being done at Juni, chef Shaun Hergatt's delectable restaurant in the Hotel Chandler on 31st Street. I stopped in last week for a lunch, and was surprised with not only the solidly executed fare, but the beauty of the plating. Each dish was a true work of art.
Live Montauk Scallop came with garden radish, and a citrus coriander emulsion. It was delicious, perfect, and a true beauty.
Juni's Griggstown chicken rillette comes with vidalia onion and nasturtium. Another delectable work of art.
Atlantic Salmon is served with trout roe, lemon yogurt panna cotta, and spicy crunch. It was like "butta." #Perfection
For dessert, avocado ice cream with pineapple, mint, and yogurt, was refreshing, ingenious, and downright awesome!
Juni is one of NYC's best restaurants. Period.
