NYC FOODIE QUICK BITE: THE CLAM

From the team behind the West Village gems, The Little Owl and Market Table, now comes another West Village gem, The Clam. Located on the great culinary street that is Hudson Street, The Clam draws inspiration from that ingredient, and is a great place for a date, or just to drop by for some wine and some clam-inspired dishes.

Chilled King Crab ($18), comes with creamy & spicy mustard, and fried shallots, and is crab perfection. Splendid.

Spaghetti & Clams ($21), comes with spicy gravy and salad on top, and is delicious.

I'm a huge fan of this stretch of Hudson Street, with the great Piora, Takashi, and Redfarm, and now the addition of The Clam, it's a truly magical culinary street. A destination worth eating at. I'll be back to The Clam soon, to make the rest of their dishes disappear.
