One of the best chicken dishes I've had in NYC is at Le Turtle, the new hip French joint on Chrystie St. on the Lower East Side. There are a lot of great chicken dishes in NYC (Barbuto, Marc Forgione, The Nomad), and the one at Le Turtle is up there. It's sensational! It's a whole Sasso chicken served with rutabaga and chicory pumpkin vinaigrette. Presented whole table side, then cut up for you. It is truly magical. One of the best in town, and a must order! Someone come and help me eat this baby!
