NYC FOODIE OPENING OF THE CENTURY: SUGARFISH NYC

November 4, 2016 Josh Beckerman

One of my favorite restaurants in America is Sugarfish. The cult favorite sushi joint all over Los Angeles. It's a must stop every time I'm there, and for many other New Yorkers too. Well, folks, the time has come- Sugarfish has finally opened in NYC, and I'm happy to say- it is Exactly the same as the ones in Los Angeles.

The Nozawa Trust Me comes with organic edamame, tuna sashimi, 2 pieces of albacore sushi, 2 pieces of salmon sushi, 2 pieces of yellowtail sushi, 2 pieces of snapper sushi, 2 pieces of hirame sushi, a toro roll, and a blue crab roll. It costs $45, which includes hospitality, meaning no tipping whatsoever. This my friends- is my pick for the Best Bang For Your Buck Sushi in America! Did I tell you the sushi is fucking awesome? It melts in your mouth. The rice? Sublime. Warm, with the perfect kick of vinegar.

Sugarfish is magical. Sugarfish is insane. Sugargish is Love.

With such a huge following, and no ressies, I'm sure it's going to be tough to snag a seat- but do try. It'll change your life forever. It changed mine. And I finally know what love tastes like.
