NYC FOODIE QUICK BITE: IL MULINO

October 18, 2016 Josh Beckerman

For years, everyone would tell he how their favorite restaurant in NYC is il Mulino. That old school Italian joint in the West Village. Well, I finally stopped by last month, and enjoyed this NYC institution.

When I first glanced at the menu, I was like, Wow, Carbone totally copied this. I love Carbone too. il Mulino has that old school white tablecloth service, and delicious Italian fare.

You can start with their tomato, prosciutto, and mozzarella plate, then grab some of their tasty meatballs.

The pasta fiend I am, I ordered two small portions of their pastas. I'm a sucker for orecchiete with sausage and broccoli rabe. il Mulino's is perfection.

il Mulino is that old school classic Italian joint that's been around for ages. Stop by for for a taste of the past, in the present.
