NYC FOODIE OPENING OF THE WEEK: OIJI

April 8, 2015 Josh Beckerman

Delicious Korean small plates await you at the new Oiji in the East Village. What was once Dok Suni, is now this new restaurant, and after my recent meal there, I'm happy to say, it's a great spot.

Beef tartare with ramp aioli is not to be missed. Sweet and delicious. Truffle seafood broth with crispy rice is rich, wonderful, and magical. #yesplease. Ramps shine again in the Cold buckwheat noodles with preserved Spring ramps. It is straight up noodle #perfection.

I love small plates. I love Korean. Oiji satisfies both those loves. See ya there soon.
