NYC FOODIE QUICK BITE: IN VINO

April 6, 2015 Josh Beckerman

Guys- are you looking for the perfect date spot? Have you heard of In Vino? It's authentic Italian in the heart of the East Village. It's rustic, it's quaint, it's charming, perfect, and delicious. In Vino has been open for a few years now, I only just went recently for a little tasting, and it was wonderful. What took me so long? With their latest chef who used to work at Babbo, you are getting fabulous fare, in the perfect little setting. I was with a large group, but it's also the perfect date spot. Go.

Beef meatballs in ragu are fabulous. That ragu sweet and fresh.

A trio of bruschetta comes with mixed beets, trio of mushrooms, and white beans with pesto. #Scrumptious

Fennel cured house smoked trout with horseradish cream is wonderful.

Sweet pumpkin ravioli with sage butter and ricotta salata was amazing and magical, Italian duck sausage ragu with cavatelli and rapini is awesome as well.

Stuffed Jamison Farm leg of lamb comes stuffed with mushrooms on top of creamy polenta. It's tender and will tickle all you lamb lovers. #yesplease

If you are a fan of risotto, check out In Vino's take, with chicken pate, bell peppers, house cured pancetta and parmesan. I loved it.

End with that oh so popular Italian dessert, tiramisu, and it'll be a light and sweet ending to the perfect meal. So, who wants to go on a date? I got a great spot! #stillsingle
