I rarely dine on the Upper East Side. I'm a downtown kid, what can I tell you. But, when a friend's father invited me for dinner at The Mark, I jumped at the opportunity. Helmed by the great Jean-Georges Vongerichten, I've been wanting to dine at The Mark for some time now. Well, it was worth the wait. The Mark is an amazing restaurant. Everything we ate was spot on terrific. From a truly magical Black Truffle Pizza, to superb sushi, I was in foodie heaven. Lobster with Black Truffles shut it down too..You can end with any dessert, especially that signature Jean-Georges sundae, and all is well in the World..and on the UES.
