Straight up Margherita pizza perfection awaits you at the new pizza speakeasy SRO, located behind a fake brick door inside the Spanish restaurant Espoleta on the Bowery. It's a cute little space serving excellent pizza. A $38 pre-fixe menu will get you an appetizer, pizza, dessert with wine, beer, or soda pairings. The margherita pie I devoured was light, airy, and wonderful. Could not get better. It was great for my pizza diet. #fattymagician This hidden little pizza gem is great for a date, especially if you want to impress her with your knowledge of hidden speakeasies in NYC. For dessert, get the nutella calzone, and your night will be complete. I'm sure you'll get lucky.
