NYC FOODIE QUICK BITE: VIC'S

January 23, 2015 Josh Beckerman

What was once the great Five Points is now Vic's. Five Points was a true staple on Great Jones Street, one of my top brunch spots in NYC. Now the owners have reinvented the space to Vics, an  Italian-Mediterranean inspired joint, where chef Hilary Sterling is serving truly delicious food.

My pic for the snack of 2015 is Chef Sterling's Crispy Sweet Onions with dried tomato and parmigiano. They are addictive, tasty, and awesome. Bet you can't eat just one. Order them.

Littleneck clams, pistachios, cannellini, and, lovage is #perfection.

Chef Sterling has the #magical touch when it comes to pasta. Rye rigatoni comes with braised lamb, oregano, lemon, and white wine is awesome. "Little Purse" , borsa, ricotta, hazelnut, and lemon are pillows of joy. True #magic.

Looking forward to trying the rest of the menu. See you at Vic's!
