NYC FOODIE QUICK BITE: KAPPO MASA

Kappo Masa is NOT zero stars. The NY Times can be nutty some times. Hey, we all can be a tad nutty at times, including yours truly. Is Kappo Masa cheap? Nope. Is it pricey? Sure. Are they serving delectable, fresh, and beautiful sushi? You bet. I stopped in for lunch recently and had a magical meal.

Lunch time is a great time to hit Kappo Masa, for they are serving some awesome Bentos. If you are a sushi addict and lover like me, then you'll love their Sushi bento, which came with 7 pieces of fresh, glorious sushi, a roll, sunomono, and soup. It cost $42.

Tuna with Avocado roll ($18) is straight up melt in your mouth #perfection.

Kappo Masa serves two types of Surimi Pasta, which is 100% gluten free fish pasta. The one I tried  was chili cilantro bottarga. It was simple and delicate, but nothing to write home about.

Dessert at Kappo Masa is quite fabulous. You can't go wrong with their green tea layered cake, soba ice cream, or their miso creme brûlée. It's all #magical.

Kappo Masa is serving great food. It's not cheap, but still darn delectable.
