Mexican cuisine is slowly getting better in NYC..slowly. I had been hearing raves about Los Tacos No. 1, located inside the Chelsea Market, from many people. Foodies and non-foodies telling me it's the best tacos in NYC. I stopped by recently to find out for myself. Is it the best? I'll tell you this. The tacos at Los Tacos No. 1 are pretty #fuckingawesome.

Los Tacos No. 1 was created after three close friends from Tijuana, Mexico, and Brawley, California decided to bring the authentic Mexican taco to the East Coast. And they have exceeded just that.

From a truly great pollo asada (grilled chicken) ($3) taco, to a perfect and flavorful marinated pork ($3) taco, and a delectable and wonderful carne asada (grilled steak) ($4.50) quesadilla, Los Tacos No. 1 hits the spot. All were true bites of perfection, joy, and love. These are some Magical tacos. And I'm sure you will love them just as much as I did. Olé!
