The East Village Australian/Asian restaurant Flinder's Lane is awesome. Period. I stopped in recently and was blown away with the pure deliciousness and great flavor of everything I ate. I am excited to try the entire menu.
Montauk Fluke ($18) comes with Chinese salted black beans, lily bulb, and lemon vinaigrette. It's a beautiful dish, and a joy to eat. A work of art.
Get whisked away to Vietnam with their Chicken San Choi Bau ($13), with bean sprout, water chestnut, bamboo shoot, and iceberg lettuce. This dish packed so much flavor, both sweet and spicy, refreshing, and crunchy. I loved it. Another pure joy.
Get whisked right back to Australia and nibble on the Sausage rolls ($8) at Flinder's Lane. They are perfect and delectable.
Flinders Lane is an Australian gem in NYC. I'll be back there soon to finish their menu. Meet me there. Cheers Mate!
