Are you a foodie? Do you like food? Do you love to eat? If so, I have found the perfect foodie heaven for you. It's called Smorgasburg. It's in Brooklyn. And you NEED to go.

Smorgasburg is an all-food bonanza located at the Brooklyn Flea in Williamsburg, on the East River Waterfront between North 6th and North 7th Streets. It's open every Saturday from 9am-5pm. There are 100+ vendors of fabulous food. If you have a free moment on a Saturday, and you are in the New York City area, I suggest you check out it. You'll love it!

I have gone a few times and tried just a touch of the food. Everything I had was great. Here is just a taste.

Cold sesame noodles from Shorty Tang & Sons are refreshing and great!

Summer vegetables from Tenpenny are a revelation. Who knew vegetables could be so mouth-watering wonderful! Try them!

A mini cheeseburger from Dumont is burger pefection. Juicy, tender, perfectly cooked. Great.

A Vietnamese mango salad with pork from BEP Restaurant is delicious.

And finally ladies and gentleman I introduce to you the best doughnut I have ever had. It comes from the doughnut shop Dough in Brooklyn and it is amazing. An orgasm awaits you. My first encounter was with their Blood Orange doughnut, most recently, I had their Passion Fruit. It doesn't matter what flavor you get, they are all truly magical and amazing. Fantastic texture, mind-blowing flavor, it doesn't get better than this. Try to just eat one, you'll want at least five.
