I have found a new treasure in NYC, one that lies in Hell's Kitchen, and one that serves super fabulous sandwiches. The place is Vintner Wine Market, and if you are a fan of great sandwiches, you should definitely stop by this place. I had walked by this place for years without walking inside, I assumed they just had wines and cheeses. They do, as well as large selection of artisinal beers. But it's the sandwiches here that had me coming back for more.
My first encounter was with prosciutto with fig spread and goat cheese on a baguette. True amazingness.
A baguette with Serrano ham, manchego, tomato, and olive oil, surely tickled my fancy. It was fabulous.
Or maybe some turkey pastrami with basil and sundried tomato spread will suit you. Delicious.
So for a true gem of a spot, serving fabulous sandwiches, Vintner Wine Market is where it's at. A magical place.
