One of my favorite NYC restaurants, Sorella, now offers a nightly late night special after 11pm. For $12 you get a sandwich, a beer, and an ice cream float! Not only is this an amazing deal, but the sandwiches are "kick-ass"!

I stopped by last week and had an outrageously good sandwich of pulled pork, tonnato sauce, watercress, and watermelon rind, on delicious hero bread. The pork was juicy and fabulous. The addition of the watermelon rind was totally ingenious, and it was just a great sandwich! The accompanying tarragon potato chips were addictively good too! (You can't go to Sorella and not fall in love with their complimentary breadsticks too-they are amazing! Bet you can't just eat one!)

That ice cream float was whimsical, fun, and put the hugest smile on my face. Made me feel like a kid again!
