Oh, how I love sushi. I am a sushi addict. A sushi fiend. A sushi expert. A sushi connoisseur. I also love ALL the restaurants in the Little Wisco restaurant group: Perla, Fedora, Montmartre, Jeffrey's Grocery, Joseph Leonard. All are fab. All have the perfect mix of cool and laid back vibe, paired with great food. But let us not forget their smallest baby, Chez Sardine. I stopped in last week, and had a fabulous meal. They are doing some real fun stuff at Chez Sardine. Which is an "untraditional and unconventional take on a Japanese Izakaya". The sushi at Chez Sardine is where it's at for sure.
I had chopped beef ($8) paired with sea urchin, scallop ($5) with jalapeño and lemon, and unagi ($5) with tobiko and tempura. All were fresh, amazing, awesome, unbelievable, and perfect. My jaw dropped with joy after each bite. Stop in for yourself. Grab a cocktail. And some magical bites await!
