Oh, daddy loves his ramen. With the weather getting cooler nowadays, ramen is the perfect dish to warm you up and sooth your soul. There are plenty of great ramen joints in this magical city of ours, and one you need to check out, is the Brooklyn ramen joint, Ganso. I stopped in and not only had some amazing bowsl of ramen, but some uber-fabulous chicken wings.

Lets talk about the wings at Ganso for a moment. Called "Rio's Wings" ($10), coated in some sort of special sauce, which is both sweet and spicy, and god darnit, fucking awesome. These are some of the BEST wings in town, and you need to order them.

And then there is the ramen at Ganso. I tried the Ganso ramen ($13), classic soy sauce broth, slow braised pork belly, ajitama egg, and seasonal eggs. My dining companion got the Short Rib ramen ($15), soy sauce beef broth, slow-braised short rib, ajitama egg, and seasonal greens. These ramens were truly exquisite. Great flavor, totally soothing, and true ramen perfection. Ganso is a ramen force to be reckoned with. Def. worth the trip to Brooklyn. You will love it too. A Magical Ramen adventure awaits!
