Pete Wells, the restaurant critic of the NY Times stated that, “the Best pizza in NYC is in New Jersey”. It was that article and review that put Razza in Jersey City on the National and International map! It changed its life. Well, I finally went this past weekend and I can tell you that Razza is just great! Chef and Owner Dan Richer really has a gem. He calls his pizza American Artigianale Pizza - light, airy, and with local fresh ingredients. The pizza is delicious. We tried the Burrata, Pepperoni, and Guanciale pies. All were perfection. But don’t skip Razza’s fire roasted meatballs too. After one bite, I said, “Wow.” Truly incredible. Jersey City really is not far at all from Manhattan, we talking like two or three stops on the PATH. Razza is def. worth that quick trip to Jerz, where you’ll find some of the Best pizza in NY.
