Another day, another great restaurant in Brooklyn. This one comes to us from the fabulous chef, Missy Robbins, who made her fame at A Voce. She now brings us Lilia in Williamsburg, a great space, serving delectable Italian fare. Bring your date, bring me, but definitely check this place out.
You can start with a nice bite of the cacio e pepe fritelle, then def order the burratino toast with mozzarella, lemon, and bottarga. That lemon zest takes the dish to the next level. You can pair that with some prosciutto, balsamic mustard, and parmigiano butter, plus a glass of wine, and you'll have quite a perfect start to an evening out.
Chef Missy Robbins is a pasta wizard. Don't skip any of her pastas. Malfadini, pink peppercorns, and parmigiano reggiano is simple, yet perfect. Sheep's milk cheese filled agnolotti, saffron, dried tomato, and honey are what dreams are made of. #yesplease
Lamb Leg Steak comes with Roman Spices, fennel, and celery. It's flavorful and awesome.
For dessert, end with an olive oil cake, the perfect ending, to a magical culinary adventure in Brooklyn.
