One of my favorite spots to open up in 2015 is the West Village matcha bar Chalait. A small little cafe serving matcha drinks and coffee, but also an awesome menu of healthy toasts, sandwiches, and salads. Their classic avocado toast is straight up perfection. Avocado Smash, radish, hard-boiled egg, house vinaigrette. I love it. I'm absolutely addicted. In fact I love everything about Chalait (except the lack of restroom! yes, they don't have a restroom, so come on an empty bladder.) Hope to see you there soon.
