NYC FOODIE QUICK BITE: HOUSEMAN

August 31, 2015 Josh Beckerman

Earlier this Summer, a gem of a restaurant opened up in West Soho. It's called Houseman, the food is great, and they serve an awesome burger too!

Inspired by the word husmanskost, "everyday food" in Swedish, Houseman is a neighborhood restaurant where chefs Adam Baumgart and Ned Baldwin serve clear-headed food  that ranges from the familiar to the unexpected.

I stopped by in June and and a delightful meal, including a delightful roast chicken, and an unbelievable cheeseburger. It's the type of place you want to come back to week after week. I'll see you guys there soon. Lets split a burger.
