The first Hawaiian-inspired restaurant I've dined at in NYC is the recently opened Noreetuh in the East Village. I stopped by recently and had a delectable meal.
A snack of corned beef tongue musubi with peanuts and cilantro is awesome. Basically a hand roll, I'm sure in Hawaii they use spam, and here Noreetuh ups their game with perfect corned beef tongue. #yesplease
Silken tofu is dressed up with uni, ikura, shiitake, and shiso. It's beautiful.
Big-eye tuna poke comes with macadamia nuts, pickled jalapeño, and seaweed. It's great.
Garlic shrimp over rice comes with romaine lettuce and pineapple. Those shrimp are juicy and tasty.
