One of the great recent trends in the NYC dining scene is that of the Food Hall and Markets. They are starting to pop up all over and I love them. Chelsea Market was the one of the first, and now we have the delectable Gotham West Market, and more recent UrbanSpace Vanderbilt Market near Grand Central. And now, near Times Square in the Theater District, you have the excellently curated City Kitchen.
Located on the second floor of the Row NYC Hotel, City Kitchen has a great variety of restaurants to choose from. I stopped in recently for a little tasting and loved every bite! This is such a welcome addition to the Times Square area, a little culinary gem of great bites.
One of the best bites I've ever had in my life came from Whitman's here. It is their Peanut Butter and Bacon burger, and you must order one. It's life changing. #mindblown
If it's sushi you crave, grab some rolls and raw fish at Azuki, a solid choice, and great bang for your buck.
From Japan, get whisked away to Lebanon and grab some grub at ilili Box. Their pita wraps, like ones with 8-hr lamb and spiced chicken. have so much flavor, you'll love it. And don't skip their Phoenician Fries, some of the best in town. A must. #love
If it's ramen or pork buns you crave City Kitchen has that too. Kuro Obi will be your stop.
And for dessert, you must try some of the best doughnuts in town. Dough will do your body good, and your waistline. I love them. #doughnutheaven
You can also get tastes of Mexico at Gabriela's Taqueria. And a taste of Maine at Luke's Lobster.
I really love places like City Kitchen, a one stop shop for all culinary desires that take you around NYC and around the World in one place. This is an expertly curated food hall in the heart of Times Square that you'll love just like me. A magical culinary adventure awaits!
