NYC FOODIE QUICK BITE: CLAUDETTE

August 26, 2014 Josh Beckerman

A taste of Paris on 5th Avenue in the West Village awaits you at the pleasant and delightful Claudette. A charming restaurant with some delectable Parisian and North African flare. Grab a table, some wine, and some food, and let the night whisk you away.

Start with something from "du Jardin", like the Courgette, zucchini strings, roasted tomato, anchovy, and basil. Or the melon with herbs. Both were light, refreshing, flavorful and great!

A ratatouille tart,  with a páte brisés crust is wonderful.

Both the chicken tagine and the sea bass were delightful.

End with a pistachio cake with lavender honey cream, and candied orange, and your night will be complete.
