I love kale salad. It's healthy, it's refreshing, it's good for you. My new favorite kale salad in NYC can be found in the Lower East Side, at El Rey Coffee Bar and Luncheonette. It's a small little place, with a small menu, but boy do they deliver. Honestly, after eating their kale salad for the first time, I couldn't stop thinking about it. I was blown away. Why? Because it's fucking awesome. It comes with shaved almonds, almond vinaigrette, and lemon zest. Ask for it loaded, and you'll get some pickled eggs, and some other goodies that they have in stock.
