NYC FOODIE OPENING OF THE WEEK: LITTLE PARK

December 10, 2014 Josh Beckerman

Chef Andrew Carmellini and the team from NoHo Hospitality (Locanda Verde, Lafayette, Bar Primi) have now opened up Little Park in the Smyth Hotel in Tribeca. I've been twice. And..it's wonderful.

Order anything and everything from Little Park's "Autumn Vegetables" section. Everything is amazing and delicious. Beetroot tartare comes with horseradish, rye, and smoked trout roe. #yesplease Crispy Brussels Sprouts come with smoked parsnip and apple. #deliciousness Artichoke is stuffed with lamb, cucumber, and mint. Hello Greece, and hello #awesomeness.

If you are craving pasta, Little Park takes you to Germany with their whole wheat spaghetti with red waddle pork and cabbage. It's unique and quite tasty.

One dish you MUST order is Little Park's dry-aged duck & kebob with turnips and tangy grapes. It's one of the best dishes I had all year, and just #amazing. #perfection.

For dessert, end with they chocolate-rye cake with hazelnut ice cream. Just like Little Park, it is quite #Magical.
