Magical Mediterranean home cooking awaits you at the Williamsburg gem Zizi Limona. I stopped in last week for lunch, and had a fabulous bite. I knew I was in for a treat when I took a bite of their complimentary pita with tahini. That pita, freshly baked and warm, fluffy, and wonderful. I would have been just satisfied with that. True pita perfection. Their Moroccan style sub ($10), came with shredded chicken, smoked eggplant, tahini sauce, cilantro, preserved lemons, tomato, and was served with Spanish home fries. This sandwich was delicious. The fresh warm bread, also added to the excellence. Zizi Limona is a special place. I will be back.
