NYC FOODIE CHINATOWN RESTAURANT OF THE WEEK: PHO VIET HUONG

Another day, another Chinatown Vietnamese winner. I've never been to Vietnam, and am not Vietnamese, but I love good food, and go out enough to know what good food taste like. Pho Viet Huong is good.

Fresh shrimp summer rolls ($4.50) are delectable.

Steamed rice crepes ($5.50), with pork bologna are awesome!

Skip the underseasoned calamari here, and instead dig into a big bowl of pho. The staple Vietnamese noodle soup here ($5.50), does a body good. It's excellent.

Another great bang for your buck in Chinatown.
