NYC FOODIE BRUNCH OF THE WEEK: EDI AND THE WOLF

Everyone in NYC loves Brunch. People are always asking me where the best brunches are. Well, the East Village Austrian joint Edi and the Wolf has an excellent one. Edi and the Wolf is loved by many for it's fabulous Shnitzel and Austrian food and wine program. I had a recent brunch there, on their outdoor patio, and it was quite great.

I had scrambled eggs with Austrian pumpkinseed oil, chives, and pumpkinseed, and I loved every minute of it. Served with some delicious fingerling potatoes and some nice Spring Greens, it was the perfect brunch dish. Of course, being on a diet, I ordered a side of bacon too. Plus, a fine breadbasket served with homemade jam, and complimentary coffee or orange juice, makes this a go to brunch for all New Yorkers.
