NYC FOODIE CHINATOWN RESTAURANT OF THE WEEK: LOK SING SEAFOOD

Another day, another Chinatown restaurant. Chinatown has so many restaurants, it's truly another world down there. I love dropping in spots I have never seen before, such as Lok Sing Seafood on Grand Street. A fine spot that will satisfy your Chinese food cravings.

Start with snails with fish sauce ($11.95). These little babies aren't too easy to extract from their shells, but it's a fine starter for the adventurous.

Pork Chop with Peking Sauce ($7.95) is tasty as can be. If you like your flavor more on the sweeter side, than go for it.

Veal chop with black pepper ($11.95), is another fine Chinese dish.

I will say that the flavors at Lok Sing seem to be held back just a tad, a slight bit Americanized. But it's nonetheless a satisfying spot.
