TABLE FOR ONE: COCORON

I love hidden treasures in NYC. Restaurants that are off the beaten path, places yet undiscovered, yet serving great food. One hidden treasure I stumbled upon recently is Cocoron, a tiny nook of a joint in the Lower East side, serving some satisfying soba noodles.

I started with their miso coleslaw ($2.50), a refreshing salad with a delicious crunch! My soba noodles with a pork and kimchee dipping sauce ($9.80) was soothing, perfect, and fantastic.
