There is a new gem of a restaurant in west Soho, and it's called Little Prince. This petit French joint helmed by chef Paul Denamiel (Le Rivage) is wonderful. I stopped in last night and had a truly perfect meal.
Steak tartare ($15) here is served with filet mignon, and is silky and awesome. Perfection.
Frisee Aux Lardons ($12), served with a soft poached egg and Nueske's bacon is wonderful. I loved it.
Duck L'Orange served with endive and cippolini is unbelievable. This dish was beyone perfection. That duck cooked so perfectly I almost cried with joy. Sensational.
A side of Macaroni Au Gratin and Pommes Puree were also delicious. My diet totally disappeared.
End with a tartine, or a Jacque Torres Chocolate Chip cookie, which is served with rum infused milk. It's the perfect little ending to a fabulous meal, at a true gem. Little Prince is one magical treasure you'll be happy to find and dine.
