Oh, what I do for you people, my fellow foodies. Last week I was invited to a tasting at Hudson Eatery a new restaurant in west west Hells Kitchen. Almost the entire menu was sent out and I consumed just about everything in sight. I'm working for you guys! You're Welcome. Check it out!
Barbecue potato chips with gorgonzola cheese dip ($6) is an addictive and great snack. I loved these chips!
Mama’s Meatballs ($8) with Sunday gravy & warm semolina bread were tasty
Loaded Mac & Cheese ($8.50) with smoked bacon & caramelized onions. Everything's better with bacon!
Homemade Mozzy Sticks ($8.50), crisp fried mozzarella, Sunday gravy were great!
Tuscan Grilled Cheese ($8.50) fresh mozz, ham, tomato, basil, capers & lemon butter was also nice. I really enjoyed the addition of capers and lemon, giving this sandwich a nice salty, citric kick!
Hudson Eatery's take on the cheeseburger is definitely worth mentioning too! Their cheddar burger ($10) with Angus beef, sharp cheddar, and thick bacon on a brioche roll was fantastic!
Roasted Chicken peppers, onions and sausage was surprisingly really good. I'm not a huge chicken eater when I dine out, but this was chicken 'lickin good!
So, head to the far west side of Manhattan and have a taste of everything. Or at least get a burger. You can walk it off afterwards.
