NYC FOODIE DISH OF THE WEEK: SOTO'S UNI IKA SUGOMORI ZUKURI

Have you dined at Soto yet? It's one of the best sushi spots in NYC. It is not cheap, but it is truly sublime. Beyond Magical. Soto does wonders with Sea Urchin, and the NYC Foodie Dish of the week is Soto's Uni Ika Sugomori Zukuri ($26).  The finest sea urchin wrapped in thinly sliced squid with shiso, served with quail egg and tosa soy reduction. This dish is ingenious, and plays with your taste buds. The sweetness of that fresh sea urchin, paired with the soy reduction, is a great balance to the subtle flavor of the shiso.  The texture of the thin and tender squid, plays with the custard texture of the sea urchin. It's an orgasm in your mouth. Pure Magic!
