What was once an Outback Steakhouse is now Enduro, a modern take on the classic American Grill. Owned by Alan Rosen (Junior's) and helmed by Chef Nathan Huntington (Chicago's L20), Enduro is serving solid and great food, in a nice space and relaxed setting. I stopped in last week and was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the dishes. Service is top notch too.
Lobster & Crab Chopped salad ($26) with lemon dressing was perfect. Refreshing and splendid. Some times restaurants overdress salads like this, not here. It was spot on.
Red Snapper Ceviche ($17), with lime, parsley, and olive oil, was also spot on delicious. Another truly refreshing starter, this ceviche was perfectly balanced with citrus and acidity. Perfection.
From Enduro's Rotisserie and Grill section we ordered a very nice grilled Atlantic salmon ($26) with escarole, olive, and sundried tomato. And, we also had their 20oz dry aged rib eye ($50). The Rib Eye was wonderful. Tender, juicy, a truly magical hunk of meat.
Definitely order some sides at Enduro. Our creamy spinach ($8) and macaroni and cheese ($) were both fabulous and wonderful.
For dessert, you might want to end with a humongous Coconut Layer Cake ($10), or the soft serve cheesecake and graham cracker ice cream cake ($10). I was dieting, so ordered both.
