If you can nab a seat in the uber-small and ultra-expensive ZZ's Clam Bar, then you must try their Trout Roe Toast ($30). I actually love all the dishes at ZZ's, and last week a friend insisted I try their Trout Roe Toast, so I did. And to be honest, it was so fucking good I cried. A warm homemade semolina toast, topped with trout roe, honey oil, and an excessive amount of shaved truffle. It is truly orgasmic, out-of-this-world, and downright fucking awesome. One of the bites of the year, if not my life. Heaven on toast. Magic in my mouth.
