Chef David Bouhadana, the Jewish sushi chef that put Sushi Dojo on the map, and made 30 minute omakases a thing in NYC, has reopened his Sushi By Bou inside the Chinese restaurant Jue Lan Club on West 20th Street. This is the second location, his other Sushi By Bou is in the Sanctuary hotel in Midtown.
This new Bou, which was once tucked in the back of the Gansevoort Market, now is in much more comfortable digs, with an artistic staircase that leads to a beautiful plush room, with small bar. No more fried chicken smell while you eat.
I'm also happy to say that this reopened Sushi By Bou is the BEST bang for your buck sushi omakase in NYC. $50, 30 minutes, and pure, fresh, sushi joy. Sushi By Bou is an amazing restaurant, a destination restaurant. I absolutely love this restaurant! If you love sushi like me, are a sushi addict like me, and east really fast like me, Sushi By Bou is pure heaven. You need to go. You gonna love it! Let the #sushiporn commence!
