NYC FOODIE OPENING OF THE WEEK: ABCV

Jean-Georges' long-awaited vegetable focused restaurant ABCV has finally opened and it's quite excellent. I stopped by recently for breakfast, then for lunch, it's another hit!

Go in the morning and have a delicious juice or shake, and pair that with a dosa or eggs, or a savory congee, or gluten free almond pancakes. It's a great and healthy way to start the day.  

Come back for lunch, and you'll really see how vegetables can taste great. I tried a lot of the dishes on the menu- not to be missed are the market carrots with stone ground nut and seed butter, chilies, and finger limes. #incredible Wild mushroom burdock noodles with tempeh and pickles, taste like chow fun- but healthier. It's genius and fabulous! Fresh spinach spaghetti comes with broccoli, kale, and preserved lemon. #yesplease. Skip the marinated kale sandwich and opt for that dosa with with yogurt, avocado, and sprouts instead.

ABCV is clean and modern, with magical vegetable dishes. Another hit, for one of the greatest chefs in the World. See you there soon. Lets eat some veggies.
