Orchard Street is fast becoming a NYC dining destination. The team behind the great tasting menu joint Contra, has followed up with the more casual Wildair. I stopped in recently and found a laid back wine bar serving delectable food.
Fried squid comes with Spring onion, lemon, and basil. Tasty as can be. A side of squid ink aioli a nice touch. Potato Darphin is topped with Uni and pickled jalapeño. #yesplease. Scallop crudo comes with kale, cucumber, and Oro Blanco (citrus fruit) and is wonderful.
If you're craving some good wine paired with delicious bites, Wildair hits the spot.
