One of the best burgers I have ever eaten I ate last week at Fritzl's Lunch Box, in Bushwick, Brooklyn. Bushwick is Booming! It's the hottest place in NYC right now. Fritzl's Lunch Box is a simple little place, with an outdoor patio, helmed by chef Dan Ross-Leutwyler. They serve salads, sandwiches, and pastas. And also, one of the best all round burgers in NYC. In fact, I haven't eaten a better burger. What makes this burger so special? Well, a lot. There is beef cheek in the blend, that is unique, and fucking awesome. The sesame seed Marty's bun is the perfect bun for a burger, perfectly encasing the flavorful and delicious meat. The cheddar ($1) wrapped my baby with perfection. The chopped pickles, onions, and "special sauce" are a great condiment, without overpowering the meat. This is one perfect burger. And one more amazing aspect of this piece of perfection: It's only $8. I'd travel the ends of this Earth for the burger at Fritzl's Lunch Box, let alone to Bushwick. It's worth the trip. Holla at me when you want to go, I'll go with you. A magical burger awaits.
