Great Indian cuisine awaits you at Tulsi, a fabulous Indian joint in Midtown. I don't eat Indian too often, although I do enjoy it, and a small tasting at Tulsi made me reconsider my lack of Indian meals per year. If you enjoy Indian food, Tulsi is a top notch destination. The chef is Hemant Mathur and he can work the room just as well as he works a tandoor. The night I dined he swept through his dining room, playing host and ringleader, greeting guests, and then sending out a tasting for little ole me. The food packed with great flavors and textures was excellent. The service superb. This is a great restaurant, and a pleasure to dine at.
