NYC FOODIE QUICK BITE: ZARAZOGA MEXICAN DELI & GROCERY

Oh how I love little undiscovered gems. Mexican food in NYC is overall, with some exceptions, well, not that good. When asked where the best Mexican food is, people always say, California, or Texas, or, um, Mexico. If you are in the East Village on the weekend, and need some tasty Mexican bites to soak up your booze, look no further than the little gem of a deli called Zarazoga Mexican deli and grocery, which stays open til 4am. They are serving some of the best Mexican in town. It's a small little spot, and you would never know it, but their tostadas and other bites are quite delectable.

I usually stop in at 3am on weekends and grab any of their tostadas. From lamb and goat to pig ear, they are always delicious. They have tacos and burritos too that will tickle your fancy. This is a deli serving great Mexican bites. A true gem.
